OPT-86 aloittaa uuden tyyppisen jäsenille ja kuukausimaksajille ilmaisen kuukausikilpailuformaatin. Kuukausikilpailuissa pelataan yhden kuukauden aikana 5-6 pelaajan pooli. Kaikki ottelut pelataan paras viidestä erästä. Pelaajat sopivat ottelun ajankohdan itsenäisesti. Poolipaperit löytyvät hallilta ja pelaajat käyvät itsenäisesti merkitsemässä ottelun tuloksen sen pelattuaan, erätulos riittää, tarkkoja pisteitä ei tarvitse merkitä. Peliaika alkaa 1.10.2024 ja tulokset ovat valmiita 31.10.2024. Pelaajat saavat yhden pisteen jokaisesta erävoitosta. Pelaamattomasta ottelusta molemmille pelaajille merkitään kolme miinuspistettä. Kuukauden päätteeksi kuuden pelaajan poolin kaksi parasta pelaajaa nousevat ylempään ryhmään. Sijoille 3-4 sijoittuneet pelaajat jäävät samaan ryhmään. Sijoille 5-6 jääneet pelaajat tippuvat alempaan ryhmään. Viiden pelaajan lohkoissa voittajat nousevat ja lohkon viimeinen putoaa alemmaksi seuraavaksi kuukaudeksi. Mikäli kahden tai useamman pelaajan pistemäärät ovat samat, niin paremman ratingin pelaaja on etusijalla. Pelaajat on sijoitettu syyskuun kuukausikilpailujen pooleihin 1.9.2023 ratingjärjestyksessä. Kilpailuun pääsee mukaan uusia pelaajia aina kuukauden vaihtuessa ja he aloittavat viimeisestä ryhmästä. Kuukausikilpailuista voi halutessaan jäädä pois ilmoittamalla siitä erikseen sähköpostitse oulunpoytatennis@gmail.com. Uudet lohkot julkaistaan aina kuukauden ensimmäisenä päivänä.

OPT-86 starts a new type of free monthly competition format for members and monthly payers. In monthly competitions, a pool of 5-6 players is played during one month. All matches are played best of five sets. The players agree on the time of the match independently. The pool papers can be found in the hall and the players go independently to mark the result of the match after it has been played, the set result is enough, there is no need to mark exact points. The playing period starts on October 1, 2024, and the results will be ready on October 31, 2024. Players get one point for each set win. For a match not played, both players are given three minus points. At the end of the month, the two best players in the pool of six players advance to the higher group. Players ranked 3-4 remain in the same group. The players ranked 5-6 drop to the lower group. In five players groups winner advances to higher group and last one drops to lower group. If the scores of two or more players are the same, the player with a better rating takes precedence. The players were placed in the pools of September's monthly competitions on September 1, 2023 in order of rating. New players can join the competition every month and they start from the last group. If you wish, you can opt out of the monthly competitions by sending a separate email to oulunpoytatennis@gmail.com. New pools are always published on the first day of the month.
